Bobcat Little League Votes to Inter-league with Sinton

After much discussion, in their November 16th meeting, Bobcat Little League board members voted to approve inter-league play with Sinton Little League for the upcoming 2005 season. A prior vote to continue inter-league play with Beeville failed to pass although the league is holding out the possibility pending discussion with Sinton Little League President Ronnie Hesseltine. Lucy Rocha took on the duties of league treasurer after the previous treasurer resigned the position due to time constraints. The League is still looking for an alternative site for a ballpark and is hoping to find a 4 to 5 acre parcel of land close to town that can be purchased by or donated to the league. Board Vice President Toby Salinas is in charge of locating potential sites on the league’s behalf.
